OnePlus is trying to resolve the issue of OnePlus offline selling store
To recall, we had earlier mentioned that OnePlus is going to stop selling OnePlus devices from May 1 due to some unresolved issues with the mobile retail chain in parts of India due to the Indian Organized Retailers Association (ORA). Now, the company is busy resolving these issues.
OnePlus devices were reported to be unavailable in 4,500 stores across 23 retail chains in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat. These unresolved issues included the store’s narrow profit margin, delays in processing claims and issues related to building, so the company took these steps to stop the problem.
There is speculation that the All India Mobile Retailers Association (AIMRA) is ready to take action against OnePlus and extend the ban on the sale of its phones to 150,000 stores in the country. Having this sales ban in areas of India is not good news.
To solve these problems, the company will first have to improve its relations with its retailers so that offline sales are not a problem. If the company is ready to sell only through online mediums, then it may have to face problems, and it may also lead to the company moving away from the market along with Indian mobile stores.
