OnePlus To Include Auto Pixelate 2.0 To Its OxygenOS 14

OnePlus is very peculiar about its security and privacy specs; it gives thought and attention to the different methods through which it can make advancements them. OxygenOS 14 is the operating system that Oneplus uses for their device; OxygenOS is based on the existing Android 14.

Under the privacy and security segment, they came up with features like a safety center, photo permission manager, Find My Device, Device Security Engine 3.0, and Auto-Pixelate 2.0. They have mentioned the Strong Box and Device Security Engine 3.0, which helps protect the device with strong password management and malicious cracking attempts to ensure the safety of your data. 

The safety center in the device indicates the level of risk of breach of privacy through the application you might be using. Photo permission management helps to reduce the chances of unauthorized access to your phone camera while the phone is ideal. Find my device to locate the phone in case it has gone misplaced or stolen. 

Auto Pixelate 2.0 Features

Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room, the AUTO-PIXELATE 2.0. With the leading and hazardous use of social media and AI, it is difficult to keep anything private or hidden from the public eye.

OnePlus 13R spotted on SIRIM Certifications

OnePlus may soon launch the OnePlus 13R in China, as its launch date is October 31. Recently, the OnePlus 13R has been spotted on several certifications and online listings. The affordable midrange phone could hit all markets by January 2025, as confirmed by 91mobiles Indonesia. 

OnePlus 13R SIRIM Certifications

Earlier, the OnePlus 13R, model number CPH2645, was also spotted on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification platform. However, these listings have not revealed any information about the device. It will be a successor to the upcoming OnePlus 12R and may also have the Snapdragon 8 Elite. It seems that the OnePlus 13R could be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3

A report claims that it will launch in December of this year. If we talk about the specifications of the OnePlus Ace 3, this device can come out in the mid-range with many great features. The OnePlus Ace 3 will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which can also support 100W fast charging. Under the hood, it can also have a 6500 mAh battery. 

The device can have a 50 MP Sony IMX9 primary camera with a large sensor and a 50 MP telephoto camera. The screen of OnePlus Ace 3 can also include an OLED panel with BOE and 1.5K resolution. This device can rely on ColorOS 15-based Android 15 for software.

OnePlus Acknowledged The Green Line and Motherboard Problems

OnePlus has officially acknowledged the green lines on the display and motherboard problems that were reported in various models. Users have reported these issues through social media and other forums. The Company has also confirmed that it will investigate these problems and provide solutions to customers as soon as possible. 

The Coompany earlier revealed that devices suffering from these problems will get a one-time free screen replacement. Users will be given the option to upgrade their device or replace the screen. However, these devices should not have any other damage, such as falling or scratching. Apart from this, the brand also offers a lifetime display warranty. 

This policy also applies to smartphones that are more than a year old and are out of warranty. The software updates are believed to cause green lines and motherboard failures on OnePlus smartphones. In an interview with PhoneArea, OnePlus acknowledged the problems related to the OnePlus 9 and 8 series. 

On the other hand, the manufacturer has also acknowledged issues related to motherboard failure on select devices, but a software update does not cause this issued. If users face this issue, they will be given options ranging from device repair to a discount on a new OnePlus device.

OnePlus 13 Launch Date, Colors Design and Images Are Officially Confirmed

The most awaited flagship smartphone of 2024, OnePlus 13 will launch in China on October 31, 2024. This date has been officially confirmed. OnePlus 13 features the latest upgrade in terms of technology and may also come as a successor to OnePlus 12. It also features Qualcomm’s cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a new camera design and innovative software. 

OnePlus 13 Officially Confirmed Details

The OnePlus 13 will be available in three colour options White Dawn, Blue Moment and Obsidian Secret. The White Dawn variant uses the latest Silk Glass technology. The OnePlus 13 has a micro quad curved display on the front and a prominent circular camera module on the back panel that is reminiscent of the OnePlus 12. The camera island also includes three lenses and an LED flash unit arranged in a square shape. 

The “H” logo is also located next to the camera island. However, OnePlus has released some teasers for this latest design but has not confirmed the specifications. This new device can also have a 6.82 inch 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and BOE X2 screen. It can also support up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. 

The device can also include a 6000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging to power it. Apart from this, this device can rely on ColourOS 15 based on Android 15. For the camera, it will have a 32 MP front camera and a 50 MP triple rear camera setup at the backside. Additionally, it will also have a 0916T vibration motor, and an IP69 rating will also be available for dust and water resistance.
