The 256 GB OnePlus 12R, which was released on January 23, 2023, has recently been in the news. OnePlus is promising its custom to offer UFS 4.0 and providing UFS 3.1 storage has upset its users.

OnePlus CEO Kinder Liu has announced that the company will issue a full refund to buyers until March 16. For that, the users must contact the OnePlus customer care team; they will further guide you through the refund process.

UFS 4.0 Storage Perfomance

Through its marketing campaign of UFS 4.0, OnePlus created a good demand for its OnePlus 12R 256 GB because UFS 4.0 means quicker application launch, faster system start-up times, and lower latency. It also means a 2x efficiency boost that helps protect important data stored in devices like passwords, images, and many more.

It also improves the user interface, which enables smoother app switching. All the OnePlus 12R 256GB buyers eagerly waited for this innovation of UFS 4.0 but were disappointed when they bought it.

It is now good to see that the OnePlus CEO has accepted the company’s mistake, and they are rectifying it by providing a refund solution.

OnePlus 12R Feature

Even with UFS storage 3.1, the OnePlus 12R is one of the best smartphones because of its specifications like 120 Hz refresh rate and 6.78 inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 2780×1264 pixels.

The OnePlus 12R has developed a triple camera setup: a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Talking about its front camera, it has developed a 16-megapixel single camera.

One amazing feature of 12R is that it runs OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14. There are several sensors in the phone: temperature sensor, in-display fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope, and ambient light sensor.

Summarize

If you have bought the OnePlus 12R and its UFS 4.0, the problem is not an issue. Then it’s a great phone with all new and exciting features. But if you bought it just for UFS 4.0 storage, you can contact customer care and get a full refund.
