The OnePlus 12 has achieved the new immersive goal, with an incredible 212% increase in first-day pre-orders over its predecessor. The OnePlus Nord N30 SE 5G is the most recent addition to this portfolio, released without much fanfare. However, The Company has released this device silently, and we found it on its global website; it didn’t appear towards any kind of event or marketing picture

The OnePlus Nord N30 SE 5G, which appeared on the OnePlus website without any official announcements or teases, features a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a powerful 5,000mAh battery with 33W rapid charging capabilities, which promises swift replenishment.

The Nord N30 SE 5G dazzles the imaging department with an 8MP front-facing camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 50MP primary sensor. Notable features include dual nano-SIM slots, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a unique “300% Ultra Volume Mode” that sounds over its two stereo speakers. Users might be disappointed that there is no 3.5mm headphone jack or Alert Slider.

The OnePlus Nord N30 SE 5G, which weighs 193g and has dimensions of 165.6 x 76 x 7.99mm, comes pre-installed with Oxygen OS 13.1.1, based on Android 13. The Company has not confirmed this device’s price and variant.

OnePlus is working on a new feature, Video Battery Saver, for its devices, whose main aim is to reduce battery drain in select video playback apps. Before this, OnePlus may bring another feature, the charging battery limit.

Under this, this 80% battery charging limit will turn on automatically when the device is charging for a long time.

However, both these features are still in the development stage and may come with the Android 15 update. The video battery-saver feature has been spotted in the second Android 15 beta update of the OnePlus 12.

This feature will come with other power-saving settings on the device and “optimizes battery usage when a supported video app is draining the battery.” However, more information needs to be received about this feature.

This feature is further said to affect video quality, audio, and haptics, but it has yet to be seen on any device and is clearly still being tested. OnePlus’ latest Android 15 beta update mentions several other features besides the video battery saver feature.

OnePlus has previously been working to limit the battery to 80% so that users can use it all day without interruption.

The “Charging Limit” feature has also been seen in OnePlus’ second Android 15 Beta release.

It is expected that this will be better for all OnePlus devices and a better option for those users who forgot to charge their devices.
