OnePlus launched its next and yet another wearable, the OnePlus Watch 2 in India. It’s considered to be the most advanced watch from the brand. The brand has raised the curtains from its latest wearable, the OnePlus Watch 2 at the MWC 2024 event held at Barcelona, Spain. The all-new Watch 2 has entered into the Indian market with some bang–on features and functionalities. Here are all the details that you must be aware of. 

The OnePlus showcased its first wearable a few years ago in 2021, but it was a total failure and was not up to the mark that has disappointed users to a certain extent. With that, the brand brought an all-new feature-loaded wearable, the Watch 2, which is its 2nd generation watch, while the brand also claims that they have performed some significant changes with the OnePlus Watch 2. 

OnePlus Watch 2: Price and availability 

The latest OnePlus Watch 2 is now available with Rs. 24,999 price tag in only a single variant. Simultaneously, as a part of an launch introductory offer, consumers can avail instant discount of Rs. 2,000 on your Watch 2 purchase if you have an ICICI bank or OneCard, respectively. Other discounts and offers include, No-Cost EMI o Watch 2 for up to 12 months with some primary banks only, which is only available from 4th of March to 10th of March, while 6-months EMI is available from March 11th to 31st March, respectively. Do note that the Pre-orders of the OnePlus Watch 2 have already started in Europe and North America. 

In the meantime, OnePlus has revealed that along with the newest Watch 2, first three customers will receive the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro absolutely free while purchasing the watch through the OnePlus’ website or OnePlus Store App. 

OnePlus Watch 2: Specifications and Features  

With regards to the specifications, the new OnePlus Watch 2 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display screen with 60Hz of refresh rate and 1000nits of peak brightness. The display is guarded with a 2.5D sapphire crystal, which makes the screen fully scratch-resistant. With the inclusion of the dual-engine architecture, the Watch 2 is being incorporated with the Snapdragon W5 chipset along with the BES2700 chip that offers up to 2GB of RAM and up to 32GB of internal storage. The watch is packed with a 500mAh battery power with 7.5W VOOC fast charging support that offers up to 12 days of battery life. 

Coming with an IP68 and a 5ATM water resistant rating, the newest Watch 2 significantly allows you to use it while doing certain water activities like swimming without having to worry. Simultaneously, the watch runs on the Wear OS 3 operating system that offers you the flexibility to use various applications, including Google Maps, Assistant, Google Calendar, and certain third party applications as well. 

The new OnePlus Watch 2 features over 100 sports modes, including badminton, cycling, cricket, football, tennis, volleyball, running, skiing, and more. The watch seamlessly allows you to track all your health and fitness activities through the OHealth app. With that, the watch even sports several health features that consist of sleep tracker, calorie burnt, step count, SpO2 monitoring, heart rate monitor, and much more.

This screenshot remains on the screen for a few seconds before saving to the floating window, letting the user know what has been captured on the device.

To eliminate this delay, OnePlus has introduced Screenshot Preview Floating Window with OxygenOS 12, which helps you quickly edit screenshots as soon as you capture them, take long screenshots and share them. You can follow a few steps to edit your screenshots:- 

  • Mark up the image with a coloured pen. 
  • Pixelate the image. 
  • Translate text.
  • Crop the image. 
  • Tap more editing options to access tools like watermarks, filters, colour rebalancing, stickers, etc. 

This can slow down your ability to take screenshots continuously, but it’s easy to disable it on OnePlus devices with OxygenOS 14. To do this, follow these steps on your device – 

  • Disable the screenshot preview floating window on OnePlus devices. 
  • Open the settings app. 
  • Scroll down and tap Additionally settings. 
  • Tap screenshots. 
  • Toggle the screenshot preview floating window switch off.

OnePlus Pad 2 Price, Specification, Looks Are Leaked From The Box

OnePlus is ready to launch its OnePlus Pad 2 at a launch event on July 16. The company is launching this device along with the OnePlus Nord 4, Watch 2R, and Nord Buds 3 Pro. However, the expected price of the OnePlus Pad 2 was revealed before the launch.

The tablet’s MRP is expected to be Rs.47,999, but after the discount, it can be Rs.45,999, and at this price, the version 12GB/256GB can be available.

At the same time, the cost of its accessories can be Rs. 11,999 for the keyboard, while Rs. 5000 for the OnePlus Stylo, but there is no information about the discount on these accessories. 

OnePlus Pad 2 Specification And Feature Leak

Some certification websites have revealed the specifications of this device. This OnePlus Pad 2 can have a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display, 144 Hz refresh rate, and 3000 x 2120 resolution.

Its display supports Dolby Vision, which makes its maximum brightness 900 nits. The tablet will use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for the chipset. 

The device is expected to be available in two configurations – the first with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage and the second with 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

This OnePlus Pad 2 can also use a 9,510 mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging. For the camera, the device will have a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front camera. 

Additionally, it will have six speakers capable of delivering high levels of audio quality. The tablet will launch in India alongside the OnePlus Stylo 2, Smart keyword, and folio case, but more information on the device’s colour options needs to be provided.

OnePlus Nord 4 price in India revealed

OnePlus has confirmed that an event will be held in Milan, Italy, on July 16, at which the OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus Watch 2R, Nord Buds 3 Pro, and Nord 4 will be unveiled. Some reports have confirmed that the device will have a metal Unibody design, which was used in older models.

However, a tipster has leaked the price of OnePlus Nord 4 in India, which will start at Rs. 27,999 when bank offers are included, while the normal price of the handset will be around Rs.31,000 – 32,000.

At the same time, the configuration of this device has not been confirmed yet. The OnePlus Nord 4 will also be offered with a no-cost EMI for six months. 

The key specifications of the Nord 4 claim that it will use the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, which is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB/ 256 GB storage. Its display could feature a 6.74-inch 1.5 K resolution, 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate, and OLED screen.

Powering it will be a 5,000 mAh battery with 100W wired charging support. The camera will include a 50 MP main rear camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 16 MP selfie snapper. 

Earlier, some leaks appeared that this Nord 4 would be the successor of the Nord 3, but the company denied it. After that, other reports claimed that this upcoming Nord 4 would be similar to the OnePlus Ace 3V.

After the design was revealed, this upcoming device will have a centrally located punch hole cutout, flat edges, and thin bezels around the screen, which is different from the OnePlus Ace 3V.
